Training Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Training Manager to join our team. The Training Manager will design, implement, and manage training programs that support onboarding, technical upskilling, and continuous development across our commissioning, QA/QC, and project management teams. This role requires close collaboration with subject matter experts and leadership to ensure training aligns with company standards, compliance requirements, and the technical rigor of our industry. This is a remote role, with the preference being located on the West Coast (CA, AZ, NV, OR, WA), with frequent travel to our project sites.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $135,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At CriticalArc, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or a related role
  • Proven experience designing and implementing training programs
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Previous experience in a commissioning, engineering, or technical project environment
  • Strong understanding of building systems, MEP, and QA/QC processes
  • Experience working in or supporting Data Center or mission-critical environments

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive training programs for both new hires and existing employees, tailored to engineering and commissioning best practices.
  • Partner with project managers, engineers, and QA/QC leads to ensure training reflects real-world application and aligns with industry standards.
  • Maintain and continuously improve internal certification and training pathways for technical roles.
  • Create and manage digital and in-person training modules, SOPs, user guides, and supporting documentation.
  • Implement performance metrics to assess training effectiveness and ensure learning outcomes.
  • Manage onboarding training schedules for new hires and ensure timely delivery of role-specific training content.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and procedural standards across all training content.
  • Facilitate hands-on workshops, webinars, and internal learning sessions as needed.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations in commissioning, engineering, and construction

Travel:

This is a full-time, remote position, with frequent travel to all of our project sites.
