Our History

Founded in 2014, CriticalArc is a BCxA Certified Commissioning Firm headquartered in Southern California. Through a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, we’ve grown organically into a trusted leader in the data center, aviation, and electric vehicle manufacturing sectors. Our team now includes over 50 experienced commissioning providers, serving clients across the United States and ensuring reliable, high-performance systems.

In addition, CriticalArc is certified as an SBE Micro Business by the California Department of General Services, reflecting our dedication to supporting local business initiatives and contributing to economic growth.

Begin With the End in Mind

We strive to get involved during the design phase, when the cost of correcting commissioning issues is minimal, but the value added is significant. Our goal is to secure buy-in from clients, stakeholders, designers, and builders before commissioning begins, ensuring alignment from the start. By creating a well-defined commissioning plan, we educate all parties, align expectations, and reinforce our clients’ goals.

Keep it Simple

We believe in clarity and transparency. Our comprehensive commissioning checklists and scripts set clear expectations for all stakeholders, leaving no room for uncertainty. We establish key reporting metrics, track weekly progress, and engage project teams in consistent discussions about performance and expectations.

Continuously Improve

Every project is an opportunity to grow. Through closed-loop learning sessions with clients, we gather feedback and refine our processes. We continuously update our commissioning checklists and script templates throughout a program to ensure they accurately reflect project goals and lessons learned.

Conduit to the Operations Staff

Commissioning is more than achieving system readiness. Our mission is to ensure facility operations and maintenance staff are equipped with the knowledge and resources they need to confidently operate their facilities from Day 1 and well into the future.

Continuous Closeout

Closeout shouldn’t drag on for months after project turnover. We proactively collect QA/QC reports, O&M manuals, asset data, and warranty details throughout the commissioning process. By doing so, we ensure that our clients have everything they need in hand when the project is completed.
